Adding blending gel to the paint helps extend drying time, while enhancing the colors blending capacity. If you want to use complimentary colors in one opening on a stencil, apply the first color and allow it to dry, then dab the second color. This will avoid any blending. Stencil painting does not have to be done only by pens or stencil brushes, in some cases, you can use a spray-paint instead.
